Build basic geometry in sketchup

    I don't have the possibility to download the 10Go+ of TF2 on my current computer but wanted to start putting some blocks together! I seen few tutorials about creating props in Sketchup then import them over to Hammer, but didn't see much about creating the overall geometry... Would that create trouble later? Do I need to remodel everything in Hammer afterwards?

    (for reference, a fast sketchup block thingy)

    be careful with the overlapping brushes in the cross section. That'll get you some z-fighting when you get it into tf2.

    Thanks, I guess it should be better to make two planks or to solder the whole thing as one part
