How to convert .bsp files to .map files? I've already tried several converters (BSP2MAP, WinBSPC and BSP Decompiler) but none of them have worked. I need to convert my own map for use in Torque Constructor and eventually converting it to .dif with the TC. I'm not trying to rip off anyones maps, just my own map for my own use.

Just an idea, but you could use the "Export to .DXF" from Hammer's File menu.

Then, from a 3D software, import the DXF and export as a .map.
Maybe a freeware can do this.

I wouldn't be surprised both Maya and 3ds Max can do this.

But not everyone has Maya and Max. Does anyone know if Blender has .map support? or an addon that does?

It's possible to import .dxf with Blender but they are not the same scale as in Hammer. That doesn't really matter because you can just select everything and scale it down. It works. Tested.

Remind me, what IS a .map file? I remember that's the file extension for halo maps, but I didn't think twice about it seeing as how it's the logical thing to name a map file.

It's either Halo, Torque, or Command and Conquer.

It was used in goldsrc. Can't remember for what exactly.
