With experince mapping in Portal1/2 and alien swarm, I've decided to work on my first Tf2 map. I'm making it for Stars KOTH contest. So far it's only a rough cut, no gameplay entities added. just posting to get an opinion on the layout.
A good thing about the layout is that there is some height variation on and around the point. There's quite a lot of open, flat terrain around the point, however, which might end up being boring to play on or favouring long range classes only. The lighting also is fairly dull - have a look at the tf2 skybox list and try one of those for a quick implementation of good looking lighting.
