Best size for a koth map?

    I'm making a new project based on the TV Tower from Brasilia - DF - BR
    And, well, It is 15756 x 13267 units:eek:hmy: , I'm thinking in 1000 x 1000 units but I think it still big.
    So what you guys have to say about this size?

    1000x1000 sounds really small, as sentry range is 1024???

    Now that you said, Yes it is very small, It is strange working in the Hammer scale on real life objects :S
    So how about a area that a scout can go in 15 seconds, 6000 units?

    koth_sawmill is about 5000x5000.

    This is a good place to start. 3000 - 7000 depending on layout design and whether or not you include the spawn area in that space. It all depends on what you want from your map. Koth_harvest is pretty small compared to sawmill and the result is more repetive gameplay, but gameplay that is also more intense.

    Does that 5000x5000 encompass just the gameplay area, or extra parts out of bounds? I am curious.

    5000x5000 is the gameplay area.
