I've noticed lately that streams are becoming more commonplace, and by more people. My curiosity is how it would work for your less than tech-savvy individual, like myself (I'm artsy). I currently use OBX, which as of late has been in the shitter with my internet and graphics card (strangley, works better and more effective on my outdated tower from 2010 with a 4 gb graphics cards, my current is a 6gb GeForce gtx 9800 ti)

I streamed with OBS with a similar level graphics card. Provided your CPU is decent you should be fine.

I'm running an Apollo 2 by digital storm .>. didn't spend 2.3k on junk, but the big issue that is cuts frames like a retarded down syndrome monkey with constant seizures... sorry if I offended anyone... but it's cutting 3/4 frames.

Check your upload speed. This can be a big issue. For 480p30fps stream you're gonna need 600-1000kb/s upload speed to play online and set your bitrate around 750. For 720p30fps you'll need 1500+kb/s with ~1100 bitrate. Also turn on CBR Padding.

Here's a wittier and less offensive version. Frame rate choppier than a butcher with parkinson's.

Or just say "really bad framerate". No sense dancing around the issue.

I don't get it - is there some technical requirement to laugh at ill people when describing framerate? You know metaphors don't need to be "edgy" to work?

Some people are less restricted on language... Sometimes vulgarity and insults are the best way to get a point across, but yea. Well the Internet dies when streaming, and the displayed frame rate is terrible... So .>. Quack

Not exactly my forum, and not exactly the issue, but kinda related:
What is the best program (free) to stream hammer or TF2?
