    Hi,

Before I put a lot of work into this map I have an idea and need to be told if it's doable in advance interms of coding.

In the movie Ben Hur they have a chariot race - one of the best if not the best action sequences in film.

My idea is to have 32 chariots - 16 per side each gets a driver or 8 chariots containing 2 people each - 1 driver, 1 fighter

Can I make the chariots user controlable so that they can drive the carts anywhere around the playing field (track).

I would then base the scoreing for the round on the billards type of scoring - the first team to get all their chariots over the finish line win the round or the team when with the most over the line when the timer runs out win the round.

    How does it sound?

    Hi,

I see you're making a lot of new threads here on the forum all with questions that sometimes have simple answers. So I would kindly suggest you use the TF2Maps Steam Chat (there's a link at the top of this page) for this kind of questions. I'm sure people over there will gladly help you with your grand amount of questions.

As foryour specific question right here: It is possible but it won't work out well ingame.. You'd better create a brand new hl2 mod then or something....

Well boojum made a map with 4 cars... and that didn't work in multiplayer.

I'm going to say not possible. At least without a plugin.

Thanks - believe it or not most of my questions come while I'm at work. I haven't mapped in 3 years so I'm real rusty - more with the coding part than anything else - ut's amazing what you don't remember when you stop.

I work in a call center- and we surf the net between calls - we can't do much else in between - you cn have 1 call in an hour to non-stop talking for 8 hours i- it's bizzare. Unfortunately they restrict a lot of things - ie chat's.

Anyhow - I'll cut down the posting - I don't think I have much to ask left anyways :)
