Basic Map Files?

Is there a way to load up valve maps in hammer from the basic tf2 files, or do I need to download new ones from somewhere? If so, can you give me a link?

No you can't use the tf2 maps directly, you either need to download bspsource and decompile the BSP to VMF files or you can find a list of quite a few here http://tf2maps.net/threads/valve-maps-decompiled.5952/

Edit: I don't know if the decompiled ones are currently up to date

They're not, unless they've been getting updated on the sly. Even if the maps themselves hadn't been updated in years, the files wouldn't be ideal because the decompiler, BSPSource, has gotten significant updates since then like the ability to actually retain areaportals and such.
