    Avarice - it's christmas, go shoot people and steal their presents

    This was supposed to be my entry for the Connect 5 contest, but then I procrastinated on it for four months and completely missed the deadline. Whoops. Guess I'll leave the board up for posterity:

    It's Christmas day, and the mercenaries are enjoying the festivities and opening their presents. But wait! Word's just come in that the other team got presents, too! We can't have that, now can we? Go show those losers who should've been on the naughty list! (and also who is willing to shoot people just to steal presents from them)

    Avarice is a Powerhouse-style symmetrical 3CP map, set in a festively snowy urban city. It's also my second ever original map so it's probably not all that great, to be honest.

    There is another map named Avarice out there, but since it seems pretty dead I figured it was okay to reuse the name.

    - Moved the ramp at the high path to the last point to the other side of the hallway and widened it
    - Added a tunnel between the two ramps from spawn to the last point at the halfway mark
    - Minor changes to some doorways to improve clipping

    Players generally hate mirrored map, cause it'd be confusing when you switch team, but it's fine if you want to keep it

    Personally I hate the Full health kit, imagine a scenario when you almost kill your enemy, but then he touches the kit and gain back all of his health, very annoying

    The last point is very confusing, if you watch the demo, you'd see spawned players keep running into that point and get lost, because usually the flow on symmetrical CP maps is "Spawn - Last - Mid - Last - Spawn";
    while yours Last lead to nowhere

    - Added clipping to the sidewalks to smoothen the transition when walking onto or off of the road
    - Added decals and HUD overlays to hopefully make navigating the map easier
    - Added some scaffolding to mid to help with height variation
    - Reduced the full health pack at mid to a medium pack
    - Made respawn times shorter for the losing team and longer for the winning team
