Attack Defend ctf ?

    I was thinking about ctf and I wondered. Could it be possible to make a ctf map where there are two buildings in-front of each other much like at 2fort. But the two teams capture the flag in turns so that one team is only attacking and the other is only defending. So that the attacking building is always sealed off with team specific doors . There could be also setup time's in between the rounds. It could make ctf more competitive .
    Was joust interested if this is possible.

    That would be invasion CTF, something that we've seen in maps like ctf_vector.

    I think we have a Prefab for the gamemode, but valve has adding more stuff to the game that will support this mode, so it's a little out of date. That being said, you should be able to pick up on what you need (probably using a bunch of trigger_flagdetectionzone).

    Thanks this game mode is really interesting. I didnt picture the controll points in there but I think I like it more then my original idea.

    That prefab should be updated to feature some of the unused Special Delivery lines. I went poking through the sound files back when Aly mentioned that sound replacement trick and discovered that there are lines that refer to the flag as "the device" and stuff like that, that would work really well for modded CTF-based modes.
