    Time to add mine to the pile, I guess.
    Ive started on the blu spawn, making it into a little trainstation.
    Im also making a bunch of custom props to help my map stand out.

    Looks like you forgot cubemaps. Other than that looks nice so far, keep up the good work.

    Dont worry about the cubemaps, I always do those near the end of making my maps, when eevrything else is in place.

    I like the sawmill skybox, but if you weren't to go for that, I'd go for the one below it or bottom right.

    Did moar work on the tall wood house. BTW I chose to use Lumberyard's skybox

    Added a bunch of supports to make it look flimsy, I guess. Also made the hole in the side look like an actual hole in the side.
    And ive just noticed those steps are untextured :c

    Next Job: Out of bounds behind the shed, and the smaller building to the right of Point A.
    I'm thinking a trainyard/loading area for the out of bounds. It'll connect with the Blu spawn train, and i can make it look like a crane dropped the big red storage box next to that building.

    Most of todays work was on this out of bounds area, to the right of Blu Spawn. Added a storage shed for the containers, and made the little hut appear much bigger. When i do the skybox itll look even better cos of hills n trees n junk.
    You may notice the lack of new overlays/deals. this is because of an error in their whatevers, which makes them disappear in game when you add or copy geometry. the error can be fixed, but its not worth the hassle. its just easier to leave overlays & decals til last, when all the geometry work is done.

    Next Job: Point A

    That's some nice outofbounds work, but I'm not so sure on the trees. I think it would look better as multiple shed things, or just more of a cleared area for the transporting of goods in and out of the shed type buildings (just my opinion).

    It's Point A!

    Translating the flat grey surfaces into intresting to look at but also not visleaf destroying stuff is a fun challenge. At this rate, I expect to have this kind of stuff done sometime in late August, leaving the rest of the time limit for lighting, sounds, decals & other pretty stuff.

    Also I toned down the incredible brightness of that white wood.

    So um I was doing the big wall and I got carried away a bit.

    Why does the industrial plant place have an observatory? For the same reason that Hydro has one of course!

    This was another load of out of bounds doings.

    Next job: Point B, and probably the final part of the outside, which is the entrance to Point C

    The observatory does not fit IMO. The textures are out, theres no reason for it, and it looks weird.

    I decided to connect it to a larger building. You can see inside the connecting corridor if you're on B, but it's blocked off. Also a power station. When i put the cables in, they'll all lead to this place.

    Yes, giant blank concrete wall up there. There was a decal but its gone somewhere :c

    Spytech is difficulter than I thought, cos it ends up looking like all the other spytech places. Yes the lighting will be better.

    I added a little platform to this room to keep it from being a simple big room. Also the back wall is extended into a conveyor belt thing. It looks a bit bare but I think this room will see a lot of traffic, being so close to the final point, and it would make a great spot for a Blu engie to set up his buildings, so i didnt clutter it with too many details.
