    Not used hammer in ages so i highly doubt i will win or even come close but i am entering to get me back into hammer and maybe use it on a regular basis.

    Im still experimenting with themes at the moment so can't give off too much info at the moment although hopefully will be able to show some screens later.

    Sky looks nice, could work well with a farming-style theme. Just make sure you have lights and stuff cos it looks a little dark in places ;)

    Thanks both, Progress today has been slower than i hoped but i still have plenty of time to get back into Hammer.

    @Mojo, Have been working on lighting slowly and it has now started to get the feel i wanted. I kind of want it to feel slightly dark in places but i will agree that some places are just too dark. The screen is quite early on and will look different when finished.

    Just added another pic to my first post, This time it is of my lighting please give me some advice on how to make it better. I thought this idea would actually maybe bring a little life to the trucks that you see so much.

    waay too dark. Needs some spotlights to light up the play area. You want to make it so the play area isn't dark at all, only the sky and the surrounding areas should be. Look at pipeline for inspiration

    Its in early progress atm just want comments on what i have done with the lighting around the truck especially.

    Anyone able to offer any help?

    I have used the texture floor_tile_004a and wanted to make it reflect so i put the a block above it and used the texture floor_tile_004areflect on it. This made it reflect the way i wanted but i found a problem.

    As floor_tile_004areflect texture is basically water any time a "critical hit" hits the floor it gives off a water splash which looks very odd on a tile floor.

    Anyone able to give me a better way of making the floor reflect or able to get rid of this problem.
