Area portals close on compile?

    I have numerous areaprtals in my map. They are all toggled "open", However when I run my map, half of them are closed when I see them in game. They work as intended when I use r_portalsopenall 1. Is there any reason for this? Could it be a leak, or something not being sealed off properly? Cheers.

    Check for not only a normal leak, but an area portal leak (you can use point files to check for this, but you'll get a marathon long path, but it'll show you the area portal leaking).

    Note that area portals can't intersect/overlap world geometry.

    Yeah, like the others said, it's due to an Areaportal leak. Check your compile log and pointfile to fix it.

    Also why is this thread in the tutorials and resources section? And why have so many questions been put here lately?
