Announcer system?

    I've seen some maps use the Announcer system for certain game events. How would I go implementing this?

    Create an ambient_generic, filter for "announcer" and toggle the flag "Play everywhere" on.

    After giving th ambient_generic a name you can play the sound via a I/O action, like a point capture or something.

    Of course, the game does play some of the announcer sounds automatically for you.

    Thats right henke, but for some thing it isn't automatically played.
    Coldfront for example use this for "2 minutes left"-announcement.
