The scores (all out of 100): In first place: Wildfire - 84 In close second: Deliverance - 81 A very respectable third: Fusion - 79 The others in alphabetical order: Bedrock - 67 Cloudburst - 73 Converge - 76 Landfall - 66 Mercy - 56 Overlook - 57 Stockpile - 70 Wiretap - 73 Thank you to everyone who participated. It was a rough couple of judging weeks, but in the end, great maps were made and thats all that matters. Congrats Mangy, you sly dog you.
Out of 100? How did that happen/work... Also why is this here instead of featured. and you should move the other judge threads out now. :O
GG to all! Funny, of all the maps, Wildfire was the only one I never played. Ironic. ...so, whens the next contest coming?
I figured making them out of 100 instead of 7 would be a little more user friendly, just a case of *100/7 And the other judges reviews will be out within a few days. I need to kick shadow monkey for not finishing his and I need to forumalize mine.
Thanks to everyone who participated, helped me, and helped run the contest... Let's all continue to work on these maps, learning from each other to really bring something more playable to the CTF table.
I do believe that Jimmy, Aly, and Void all deserve a congratulation. They seemed like the underdogs, specifically Jimmy with Bedrock coming out of nowhere. Deliverance and Wiretap were my favorites. Good job to all.
Well, I tied with a respectable opponent, and we both defeated some pretty big names in the mapping community. My ranks are getting higher though! Last one was seventh place if I remember correctly! Third times the charm!
I've been following the contest from a safe distance, but the results speak volumes about the amount of talent in this community. Great work everybody, and congrats to the winner(s). :thumbup1:
I still can't decide if i like wildfire or deliverance better, wish it ended in a tie. Shmitz deserves a hug too!
Ya no, throughout this complicated voting process, I feel that the best maps have been placed exactly where they should. Deliverance has brilliant gameplay, while Wildfire has amazing detail, and from what I have heard, amazing gameplay.
