An odd question to ask...

should I tie an entity to my playerclip brushes (such as func_detail)?

I realize it sounds like a stupid question, but I was thinking about it today, and since they aren't sealing brushes, shouldn't I turn them to func_detail?

Once a brush is textured with the playerclip texture there should be no need to convert it to a detail brush, it will already be excluded from calculations involving world geometry.
