Am I the only one that likes the original Half-Life textures?

People say they're outdated, sure, but I really like them. Not sure what it is about them but I think they're really nice.

I really love the textures in most Source Engine Games and Mods.
Counter-Strike: Source, Minerva and Neotokyo especially.
Also C.A.G.E.D is one of the prettiest GoldSrc mods I've ever played (after GoldenEye: Source)

I feel they've got a look that's photo-realistic but also pixelated in a way that makes me feel a little nostalgic,
Kinda like watching Star Wars V on VHS or something like that.

Half Life is a good example of dated graphics but good art direction. Same with Doom and Deus Ex.

...And then you have games like Normality, which has aged terribly.

Ouch, those have aged like a tortoise stuck in a timeloop.
