airblast

    Airblast CTF map, based on air_gladiator by StickFigs.

    Basically, it's pyros only with CTF rules, and you have to airblast each other into the water below.

    I finally released a map holy crap so plenty of feedback would be nice.

    Known Bugs:
    Shadows in skybox are glitchy.

    Before I forget, Void is credit to map for the blue radio tower in the skybox (it might not work if I didn't pakrat it properly though...!)

    large blocky geometry, floating huge buildings =(

    Why a Gimmick map? Not only are you trying to force all 24 players to play one class, you are forcing all 24 of them to use ONLY airblasts on small thin ramps.

    Itel's look far away for that kinda run if a pyro was lucky enough to grab the intel.. not to get back through player spawns to return it.

    Even though its a Gimmick map you need to balance it out a bit, Wider walk ways, maybe some walls, and closer intels.

    it's not a new gimmick, i was expanding on the concept of the older map by giving it a non-deathmatch gameplay

    which had thin ramps and airblast only too.

    but you might just be right about walls and closer intels. i'll look into that after it goes through some playtesting
