I am pretty new to Hammer map making. I used to use Wad Author to make Doom levels and although the core map making principles are still the same, it hasn't been the easiest transition for me to use Hammer and learn the new terminology. I've been looking for a tutorial on this for days.

How do I add vertices to a brush?

Go to the Vertex Tool, click a brush then select one of the yellow handles. Hit CTRL + F and - voila - a new vertice.

Thank you. Wad Author was Ctrl V. So close, yet so far. This was driving me crazy.

I think it's easier to just use the default handles and use multiple brushes to achieve your goal. Especially if you get a leak, it's easier to look at standard brushes with the default number of vertices to make sure they're aligned. But that's just me. :thumbup1:
