I was wondering if anyone could help me to understand how cp_coldfront achieves it's blizzard effects. I know how to add snow, wind, and the soundscape, but more specifically, I was wondering about how to add the random sprites of fog/snow that are mixed in with the snowfall and go by while outside.

Two things make coldfront work. 1. Thick fog in the fog controller and 2. soft lighting.

There are two that I know of: env_snow_light_001(viaduct) & env_snow_stormfront_001(coldfront)
