Butchered the name but what happened to the map?
The creator got pissy after his map didn't win the 72hr contest, and then he claimed it was "rigged" and took down all of his downloads.
Which is a shame. I enjoyed his 72hr competition entry. It was like nothing I'd seen before, and I thought it had great potential. The play testing sessions I was in were positive and the map was enthusiastically-received. Unfortunately it had some exploitable parts and rendering performance problems but those could have been fixed in future versions.
Out of curiosity, was this it http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=454133929 or something else?
I'm fairly certain it was that, yes.
I actually voted for that map, I still didn't think it would win.
It's on the Workshop, no?
May be, guy was kind of an asshole, just cause you don't win a competition, doesn't mean a map wasn't good
It's a bit immature to call people names on a web forum. Sometimes, people can be too sensitive because of bad things in their life like depression, bullying and social anxiety. You have to remember that, because it's not fair to judge someone without knowing the full circumstances.
God weres the thank button..
This needs one
its literally the first button of the set at the bottom of the post
Now theres like 18 differnet "rating" buttons...
Hence, first button of the set.
woo buttons... and sorry... my bad... but seriously... abandoned upward was cool, wish the download would return
Well, I think many of us have that map downloaded but sharing is different thing
As ExtraCheesyPie said, the map is on the Workshop so if you want to play or host it, it's still possible. You'd need to contact the author for permission to use his assets.
Mostly referring to on tf2 maps, I have the map on inspirations lobby folder
