    Nice, but haven't they already announced their fixing it? And I was hoping you'd be addressing the lack of hammer support or game balance.

    It's good except you've got not based on skill as a downside which is waaaay off.

    New weapons shouldn't be based off skil, as they aren't updrades but alternatives. The achievements are the only thing that should be skill based.

    I'd be fine with giving items based on skill/improvement. If you're having a good round, you should be awarded for improving by receiving something new.

    The intention being what BrokenTripod said: you are more likely to receive items if you're doing well, not as a reward or upgrade.

    I like it and i think they will definitely think about what you said.

    You said it in a nice why not complaining about the system but in a constructive criticism.

    I like the way you put it. One thing i think should be added is to not have it on a timebase. A Lot of players are saying you should get a drop everyone 30 minuets or hour. i think it should not be set to a specific schedule.

    Why a pdf?

    Good reasoning and ideas though. Due to the nature of this community, though, I'm not sure about the custom maps thing. Maybe go by gamemode.

    I'd agree, and 30 minutes is way, way, way too regular... there's not enough items, and your backpack would get full way too quickly.

    It lets me use some fancy formatting I couldn't get out of an email and it is more professional?

    I understand what position that puts our community in, but, we're here to make custom maps not get items, and if we're talking about tiny modifiers to the chance of getting an item, most people probably wouldn't notice.

    Ooh. Nicely-formatted PDF iz serious business.

    Anyway, I wish we'd have achievement milestones and random drops. That way lazy people who don't really care can just play the game and rely on luck for their stuff, whilst people who REALLY want specific weapon unlocks can work towards them.

    I say this because I have gotten 12 out of 35 Sniper achievements effortlessly and unintentionally, and I think I would have had The Huntsman if they kept milestones in. :(

    This I don't like, sure its all well and good if your most played class is spy, as then you get the new stuff faster, but what happens when your most played class is medic? Then you get to enjoy tons of medic items before you can try the new stuff.

    You do realize this is not good for the custom community right? As it is its difficult to fill custom map server, now you want to add to it "nah, lets not go there, we'll just play goldrush and get some hats". This is the last thing we should suggest.


    and I officially worship firefox now, my computer crashed while I was typing this, and i was like, "damn it, now Ill have to do it again!" but it actually saved what I typed when it restored firefox
