is the amount of cash all germans have together
(08.07.08), which kinda ashtonished me as I stumpled upon it. Now I don't mean to show off or anything (since I am also almost always broke ^^) but I couldn't find any values for other countries, so I don't know how good that is in comparision.

If you didvide it equally through all germans I should have 55,982.18 € on my bank account.

Interesting, you will also be interested to know that the US government currently has $10,654,693,022,734.54 in national debt.

my economics teacher said that they recently removed the $ from the electronic sign that shows the current debt, just because they didn't have space enough for all numbers :p.

When I searched for the amount of cash we have in the Netherlands I only found this:

The richest dutch person has 4000.000.000 euro (Mrs. Heineken)

german national debt is 1,515,000,000,000 € so round about one fifth of the US debt.

The richest dutch person has 4000.000.000 euro (Mrs. Heineken)

I know that name from somewhere. What does he do?

Heineken is a beer I believe, and I know its imported to the US, so maybe she owns the beer company?

Not sure if she owns it, but her husband did (he's dead now)
