    Hiya folks...

I come before you, hat in hand, asking for an assist from an experienced 3D modeler for TF2.

I've had a run of bad luck with freelancers of late, as each and every one who has accepted a project over the last couple of months went MIA without finishing/delivering a thing. At this point, I'm getting short on time for this particular project, and I'm willing to pay $100 via paypal to any experienced 3D modeler that can deliver a working, high-quality physics model to me no later than 10/12/09 (a week from today).

OK, here's specifically what I need:

A complete, ready to use, high-quality 3D "Voodoo Doll" physics model for TF2. Essentially I want it to look exactly like (or as close as possible to) this:

    http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-voodoo-dummy/347308

with one important addition. I would like the doll to have a small "Hello My Name Is" sticker on its chest, with the name "Savage" in black handwritten letters (similar to this: http://astoriedcareer.com/hello my name is.JPG). Note: I will purchase that model from Turbosquid as a starting point if the person who accepts this project wants it.

The only other thing I would need is a high-resolution pic of the completed model in PNG format on a transparent background (for promotional material).

That's it. If there is any question about trust, I run one of the largest TF2 gaming communities there is (No Heroes: 21 TF2 servers and counting) that serves over 14,000 players per day. I've worked with many of the best mappers here to assist them in testing their creations, I pay for good work, I pay on time, and I'm easy to contact. In addition, once I work with someone who delivers high-quality work, they get the right of first refusal to any similar work in the future (I do paid-projects virtually every other month).

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

i think i've seen this before:
    [ame="http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=9392"]Help Wanted (for a fee): Convert/Edit a Model - TF2Maps.net[/ame]

if you shouldn't find somebody, maybe you should try and get yourself into some 3dmodeling - will be worth the effort !

you want that doll, with a sticker to the heart? Wouldnt that just be enough with a reskin?

    Edit:
Did this in ps real quick. Is this what you want? But you know, high res and better done.

Yep...but the person who accepted that project pretty much stopped communicating and/or lost interest (I'm not sure which, since he doesn't return PM's).

As for learning it myself, right you are....but at this late date, i think giving myself a crash course in 3D modeling isn't practical.

That's exactly what I need (but as you said, in a higher resolution and cleaned up a bit).

if you'd like the project, please let me know asap via PM, and we can work out the logistics of getting you the model, and a 50% upfront PMT via paypal to get you started. Thanks for taking a look. :)

    EDIT:

P.S. don't forget it needs to be a physics model as well ;)

I just wanted to drop a note to the forum to give Kudos to both Snipergen and Fearlezz. They accepted this project and delivered a high-quality product on-time (actually, ahead of schedule) that exceeded my expectations.

Thanks again guys....you can expect many more offers for paid projects in the future :)

It's part of a surprise for my gaming community that will be launched soon. As a few of those members also happen to lurk around here, I'm going to keep a lid on it until the launch in a few weeks, but I promise to post back with the results, which were stellar.
