The certificate for the site expired. It was set to auto-renew but failed for some reason. All is well now.

The demos page is now grabbing demos with no (known) issues.
By "Team Fortress dev team" do they mean the janitor and potted plant in the corner?
the tf2.com user is automated with update/tf2 news. no idea who the tf2com guy is.
This is somewhat already implemented. It'll only consider your map "played" if the server had more than 10 players. Otherwise is stays on the list.
This was fixed and it was due to improper (lazy) coding.
