In .vmt files there is a proxy called "$selfillum", putting it to one ("$selfillum" 1) should work.
selfilum texture on the brush may do that.

I'm trying to go for a tardis effect with these brushes, and it works relatively well.

The only way to make it worth playing on would be to scrap the whole idea.

In part of a map I'm making the player is coloured via an input.
That works fine, but weapons and hats/miscs aren't coloured.

If you pass the entity range in game the game crashes.
You can use the addoutput input to overheal.
