  • mapping for 4 hours straght felling very tired and i have to fix a lot but a lot becuase you know its a koth mirrored map ..

    You can use the I/O (Input/Output) to disable and enable spawn points (or in this case, disabling earlier spawns and enabling forward spawns). Just make sure that this is activated on capture for BLU team.

    Completely unrelated, but rather than asking questions in the profile posts section, you're better off asking in the Mapping questions part of the forum. You're most likely going to get an answer way quicker. Not everybody looks at the recent profile posts all the time.

    Simply take everything from the download's materials, models and scripts folder and place the contents of those folders into TF2's folders with the same name. It'll ask you to merge tf/materials/models since that most likely already exists, when it asks you that you want to click on Merge so that it doesn't overwrite stuff already in there.

    Displacements have to be on world brushes, not func_detail brushes. Select the displacement and click "to world." If that doesn't work remake it.
    i have a leak which i can't find out how to solve here: hashvec: point outside valid range
    hey guys,i am facing some compile errors on my new map there are a lot of leaks even on the light invoronment. what sould i do to fix it?

    Entities themselves don't leak; they can only detect leaks. If you got a leak error, that means there is a hole in your map somewhere. You can find it by going to Map -> Load Pointfile and a red line will appear, showing you where the hole is.
    i have a problem the sky of the map doesnt appear what should i do? also i checked it on valve error check

    If it's a custom skybox, do you have the skybox files in your tf/materials/skybox folder? Is your map sealed, and did you use skybox brushes?

    yes i used skybox brushes as always but i used the jungle skybox from borneo if that helps

    According to the VDC, "This skybox will only work if you have the skybox files." I dunno if it's available to download somewhere but I can't find it on this site.

    what did you download? nobody released the assets yet, they said they'd announce when they are released.

    Those models are from EArkham's model pack, not from the Mayann Project. You need to take the folder with the models and place it under tf/models and then place the materials for the models under tf/materials/models.

    Is it a leak? Your description is a bit too vague for anyone to fix your issue. Make a thread where you post the compile log and explain exactly what the problem is.
    i made a mistake by mistake i hide the toolbar on hammer how can i retern it?

    All your toolbars are in View -> Screen Elements

    Top Left: View > Screen Elements > Check the ones you want to unhide.
