  • Hi,

We currently have a test server and group off testers for trialing maps in production. We mostly test Beta and beyond. To see if they are suitable for our main servers

We don't make custom maps ourselves but host a custom map server that popular in Australia.

If you or any of your mapping buddies need a map to be tested. I can help out it. just pm me here or at FPS Nanna (I've seen you there also)

and I'd be happy to organize a test and give you feed back.

Just looking for a way to contribute back to the tf2 community

    Cheers,

    E5Ky
    Hey Man,
Now that all i'm doing is fixing up Avante i'm pretty free for the most part. I'm actually (for some reason) allocating myself some time slots/organising my time to get things done (spout of sensibility hitting me randomly) and i'm wondering what you intend to do about the collab you requested.

If you have msn it might be a good idea to add one another, if we're gonna be transfering the map etc between each other. My address is grazzer88@hotmail.com fyi

    Cya around.
Ok sorry I just realized you had a friggen tutorial on how to do it perfectly, sorry I even asked. I shall now leave you alone! lol
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I truly feel like a annoying ass but if you don't mind if I ask you another question? this is like the 3rd today lol. Is there like a standard way to take two displacements and join their edges, because Valve's rock walls are perfectly fitting and sealed to the edges it seems. Can you do something to seal them or is it just good craftsmanship? Sorry to bug you once again.
Hey, Sorry to bother you but when you are a starting mapper, there are so many questions to ask. Displacements are only supposed to be visible from one side and be really thin, and I got these cliffs in my map like that. But now I am trying to do some surrounding wall cliffs and such but when I am done transforming them and misshaping them, the walls are how thick I made the brush and you can see all sides. What is going on?
hehe :p I do it like that too, I really detail 1 spot, than move on to the next one
{SeV}Snipergen[CA]: btw do you think it's possible for my map: I want this: when the map starts.. its 2 control point stage, red has to attack, blue defends. IF red succesfully defends, the map goes to the next stage that is a payload map to blue base to destroy it, if blue wins, its a payload map to the red base to destroy it. If they don't push the cart to the end, its switchteams on stage 1 again. IS THIS POSSIBLE? :p since you're fkin better with entities than me
I have the software, though I haven't had an excuse to start using it yet. I'd be willing to work with you on that explosion if you'd like. Just send me some geometry.
