  • I've "reposted" the thread you recently commented on. Done it as the first one was a complete mess-up (I said things that I didn't even pretend to). Also because I couldn't edit the title.

    Just wanted to let you know so you won't think I'm spamming.
    I was thinking that how the pd map you started making back at the 72h tf2jam is going?

    The largest problem in the map was how long it took to reinforce the front line as a newly spawned player. The most obvious answer is to shorten the distance of the map, but it breaks the design of mid - which breaks the design of the flanks and routes into last, since it's all connected. Unless there's another method I can use I will otherwise have to redesign the whole map.
    The idea for the map is cool though.

    accidentally deleted my previous post about it here. I heavily revamped koth_shipyard and packed everything properly and would like to see if this drastically altered version is good

    I just want to say that I checked out your comment and video, and I left some comments in both places. I can't thank you enough for the assistance, a really do appreciate it. I agree completely with what you said about the second choke point, that window is going to get closed off among other things. I also want to re-design the third area in order to make it more fun for RED. That, and I want to break up sightlines further. While messing around on the map as a Sniper, I discovered that a particularly skilled Sniper on either team could stand at the very end of chokepoint 2 and kill someone at the very end of chokepoint 3 and vice versa. I have some papers due in some of my graduate classes however, so it may be a while before I have something to present. At any rate, thank you again for you assistance and feedback.
