Packed particle effects messing with current particles?

Today I released a beta of my map koth_tomb. I've got a couple of custom particle effects packed into the map using packrat and it shows just fine for me. After testing people reported that their particles were completely screwed up after going to the next map. I cannot seem to replicate it myself.

I'm unsure what exactly could be causing this problem.

If their flamethrower has suddently stopped animating the flames (and is instead throwing out the whole array of flame frames) then it sounds like a not-mapper's-fault bug.

Did you pack a particle manifest with your custom particles? (koth_tomb_particles.txt)

Perhaps your custom particles are still loaded in memory after leaving the map

Had the same problem with my map yesterday. Youme told me you had to place the manifest in the particles folders instead of maps. Don't know if this will solve it.
