This is my 1st map to ever release to the public, so be nice and hopfully everybody likes it. :D

Coret is a standard CTF symmetrical map. It is a total recreation of the classic UT 99, ctf-coret. In this build, there are no ambient sounds or anything like that, visually it is almost 100% complete.
The original was far too dark and un-tf2-like, so i brightened it up a lot and also tried, and hopfully sucsessfully, to mix the UT style with TF2 style as much as possible. I also tried to keep the layout exactly how the original was for the die hard UT 99 fans. : )

I will be updating this to a final release as soon as possible. I've also an idea to add extra areas and routes for a CP version of the map and rename it cp_coret_extended or something like that.

I'm also looking for someone interested in hosting the map on their dedi server or a clan's server for a decent test. Previous tests of the map have been done on listen servers for only short periods with only a few players. 12+ max players would be preferable. Anyone who's interested or decides to host the map on their server anyway, please reply with server name and IP. :D

Looks good, but alphas are for getting the gameplay sorted out before you go into detailing the map, and what works for UT may not work for TF2. Also, which alpha is it? (Alpha 01, 02 etc.)

Nice, I can immediately recognize the original, though I wonder how it works out without a personnal teleporter...

At Smetzle: Thanks for the reply. Yeah, i know that that is what alphas are for, but it was at first just a personal project to make the map exactly like the original. There were no plans to release to the public untill after showing someone some WIPs, advised i should. Which is why im looking for people to host it now to thoroughly help test all aspects of it. The insperation to create this map came from a similarly layed out map which reminded me of ctf-coret. That map, in my opinion, played pretty well, especially with a full server of 32, so i thought that this map should be in a similar catagory with playability. But i do plan on editing the map for it to better suit TF2, if it needs to be. But i need some more feedback and more testing with more players. As to what alpha it is, i hardly think that that matters at all. But im guessing it's alpha 1, seeing how its the first version released.

At Loc n lol: Cheers for the reply, about the personall teleporter, i made sure of adding in stacks of boxes or other climbables to get to the otherwise unreachable areas, which seems to work well. This map, luckily, doesnt have too many areas which needed the personal teleporter. :D
