So if you know about my [ame=http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=8073]map[/ame], you'll know that a lot of it is water. If you didn't know before, you do now. Don't try to unknow it.

My main concern with it is that on some parts, Engineers will be able to set up Sentry Guns, Teleporters, etc. that will probably own the other team as they enter the water or try to cap points. So, my solution is this: next to cap 4, Island, there will be a computer center that controls the height of the island; the computers will be hacked and the pneumatic arms that hold up the fake island will shower sparks every, let's say, 2 minutes. Because water conducts electricity, everything and everyone in the water will be killed instantly.

Your thoughts? Opinions? Alternate solutions?

P.S.
Also, tell me if you want me to give out the .vmf of the map every 2 weeks; the download unavailable button saddens me.

Can't you just add a func_nobuild in the water? Seems a lot easier than trying to periodically kill everyone.

Eh...yeah, but that won't be as dramatic, and players could still camp without buildings.

I dont see an issue in camping players underwater as they have to get up at some moments anyway. If they are realy an issue maybe add piranhas or something. Demoman camping underwater also isnt as bad as when they do that on land. They are a pain anyway.

Also, adding fences or debris underwater could help into making it harder for players to get a big advantage. The nobuild thing however is the most ideal thing for it. Ofcourse, they can build at edges but thats no problem. Those can be spotted.

As a last thing you maybe can have an underwater cave that ends behind them so spies can take out the players a bit easier.

If even non-engineers can effectively camp the waters to a point where it breaks the balance of the map, then perhaps you should reassess your map design.

I don't think that camping will be a big issue; the thought just passed my mind and I thought I'd share it with you guys. But if it does, I'll change it around a bit.
