When you upload a map, do you need to provide the .txt files for the soundscapes and particles?

I like this pic the best. Just vary the curvyness of the top of the cliff and add some well-placed foliage and trees there and it will look awesome.

Sadly that's pretty much all I can do to curve the cliffs without destroying them completely. Thanks for the advice though. :)

Step 1: create 128x128x4 brush.
Step 2: clone brush to fill a 2048x2048x4 area.
Step 3: transform all brushes into displacements.
Step 4: set noise to -10/+10
Step 5: sew all displacements
Step 6: subdivide all displacements simultaneously

If Hammer finishes Step 6 before the contest is over, I'll let you know what step 7 is. ::p:

Seriously though, I've got what I think is a great idea. We'll see what everyone thinks of it when it's done.

Also, if you want a larger jetty, I suggest taking the bridge supports from 2fort and using some of the wood patches from Sawmill after you've reskinned them to better match up.

*snip (nevermind, didn't know it was this big already...)*

Edit: For those of you having problems with particles or soundscapes, I suggest you look at http://swamp.tf2maps.net/instructions.php

And... Wait.. what!?!? You don't need to make the map playable?! I was making a CTF map, but it's gonna be scraped if I can do like, only scenery :(... Then mine might look a lot better. :)

I decided to go with this:

Hopefully I didn't miss anything. Too bad I didn't think of moving props like eerieone. :(
