My first map release. While I've playtested with a friend, we disagree on some of the decisions I've made in making this map and we still are discussing features to add. I look forward to (hopefully) the critique of many people so I can make my map a fun and memorable one. I whole-heartedly encourage anyone and everyone to make suggestions for something I would like to add or perhaps something that should be changed or removed completely. I will take all responses into consideration.

Looks very sniper friendly,
spectator cameras would be nice too...

Yea it looks like there's only one way out of spawn, and it can easily be camped from across the map.

I agree with the other two posters.

It's a cool setting, but if you could break up the gorge a bit that would help I think. For instance: Instead of being a relatively linear gorge, you could make the walls come out a bit in places (like the gorge is sort of a rocky zig-zag). It could add some visual interest to the (already neat) canyon walls, and with some planning it might even break up the vis-leafs for some fps improvement!

Another thing I think that would be helpful would to be some sort of net to catch people who fall. It seems kinda harsh for people to just die, especially given how easy it seems to fall. Possibly have the net only have a couple ways back up, so it is generally longer, safer and tedious. Then maybe have some higher routes, possibly along the cliffside for quicker travel, as well as to give classes like pyros and spys ways to get behind the various points.

I can just image a team or all pyros with normal flamethrowers and snipers
those 2 clases are just too overpowered. Mabye house the cp's with houses just to give so extra cover.

It sure does looks interesting. As other people said some cover is a must. Also maybe make height vary bit more?

the sides of the gorge look a little repeating not as bad since its displaced but you might want to consider raising the scale for the texture

Update August 15th. See changelog for details and please give me more feedback. I'll try to get a server set up to run this map.

I haven't played the new version but I got some ideas for the layout.

It's pretty small for 5 cps, you have to walk far but they are cramped together.

Maybe you should just make it 3cp? Or I drew a sketch of the way I think you could reduce the spawn camping.

mtv22: The map actually has 7 points now.

It's changed pretty drastically, including a larger base of operations for each team, so snipers aren't nearly as overpowered anymore. Larger areas down below make compression blasts and Force a Nature's shots usually more of a nuisance than a death sentence- and I say usually, because there are places where falling is still just as deadly.

What's interesting about this map to me is that it is not very large, but it uses every dimension. Not many maps have this much vertical movement.

As for suggestions, well, I've been testing this map privately with ganonscrub, so he already knows most of my thoughts on it. I would suggest adding one or two more glass walls here and there, so that the map isn't quite as open as it is now. Other than that, I think that everyone here should give it a test so they can give their thoughts now that it's changed. It certainly deserves a look.
