No, let me also clear this up: Boojum is the only one with access to the class accounts (sept maybe drpepper who is god... uh... nothing to see here)
So anyone wanting something posted with them has to go through boojum. one single user... aint gunna do that.

So yeah, not just one map and it is big.

And we had enough of a trouble getting Boojum to do it.

Do you guys seriously think we'd use the class users to post just a single guy's map?

Seriously guys, get a clue... This is bigger than just a single map, or even two, or three. we've been working on it for some time and its something that will be big.

/dispels concerns its just one lucky tosser having his map bigged up.

So this has nothing to do with Valve?

Probably the only thing it has to do with Valve is the fact that if a community map is made from this new locale, they'll make the new locale official. I hate speculation, so I'm not even gonna guess what it is. You are all stupid if you are getting angry over this (but your maps are still epic =D).

Sure, I'm an idiot for being naive to think that tf2maps.net was another outlet for Valve's announcements. There was one instance where that was the case, but it's just silly of me for thinking Valve would continue to do so.

So? when we gonna find out, what is this?
(arrhgh, firstly I thought that tf2maps.net helps valve to design a new location, but.... "it has nothing to do with valve"
I was absolutely disappointed...)

if it isn't as good as the fantastic ice theme that acegikmo made, me and probably a lot of other users will be quite disappointed.

You know... You know what I've noticed? Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a gang banger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all "part of the plan." But when I say that a new environment is under development, well then everyone loses their minds!

Next person to bring up "Elitist", "Secret", or "Inside of a whale" gets a brick to the face, courtesy of me. Or zpq.

In my defence though, it really really looked like a TF2maps mod or other higherup was using some executive privilege to show off a project. If it's something totally new and cool, you might want to make it seem that way. Most professional developers look obnoxious teasing something. It's like that metal gear site all over again.
