Is it possible to dynamically change custom CP Hud Icons? I know you could technically make 3 custom icons which are linked to "red", "blue", and "neutral". However, I'm wanting to make a custom icon that has 7 different possibilities. Is it possible to change these icons more than the 3 default?

I'm pretty sure the answer would be no. While you could change the key values on the entities I don't think it would have any effect as those types of things are probably cached at the load of the map and then left.

Can I change the state from locked to unlocked? That would give me a possible 6 icons to work with.

Is there any way to change current overlay of CP in the HUD?

Actually, I just figured out a way to do it without needing all 7 textures on 1 icon. This is what I'm currently working on:

You'll notice this is for billiards; I won't even be using the CPs except for their HUD icons. So far, the middle 4 icons are actually in the map. The big red and blue circles are more or less a key to help players remember which balls are theirs to sink. The middle two are status icons for the two special balls--the cue and 8 balls. When a player is killed by the 8ball, its icon increases the size of the skull and crossbones symbol so it looks a bit animated. Also, the cueball's + icon changes to red or blue depending on what teams' players are getting healed. Both of these icons gray out and have a red X through them when they are scratched.

The icons containing the smaller blue and red dots are not in the game yet; I added them in photoshop to see how they will look. As a team sinks more of their balls, the icons change to show how many are remaining. This provides a quick, at-a-glance view of the score.

Yeah, they're just custom CP icons. I'm simply tucking the CPs away in a small room off the main map. I have a different icon for each team, and I simply change the team ownership when I want the icon to change.
