Feeling up to some insane gaming? How does TF2 at 150% speed sound? If this tickles your fancy show up and buckle down your brain.
This is an experimental event I'll be hosting, in which we play TF2 at non-standard speeds via host_timescale. We'll be starting off at 150% and see how it goes from there, with the possibility of slowly ramping up the speeds based on player opinion. I might even occasionally drop in a sudden slow-mo period without much warning.
As the timescale increases so does the amount data being thrown around. This can and will effect ping times, scaling in relation to your normal ping. Euro players be advised.
Maps played will be determined as we play, and I'll probably run the event for at least an hour or two, depends how well it all goes over.
If you have any suggestions ahead of time for maps you think would work better than others at high speed feel free to drop them here.
Oh, I forgot to mention. No stats/achievements will be counted during this event due to cheats being enabled.
