Agh, my textures seem to be borked

First things first: I've never used Hammer before, so excused my extreme noobishness.

Alright. Whenever I want to select a texture for let's say, a floor, Hammer just ignores me and sticks with the random solid-colored texture. Included are pics.

At the top left of that box it says "camera" : click that and go to ->
3d Shaded Textured Polygons

You have 3D Flat.

Uhhh...
go to the source SDK menu (where you opened hammer from) and try refresh content..

screenshot of your box when you browse through textures?

That's the first page, others are just random skyboxes and all of the Achievment icons.

Put "tf" in the Keywords, not the Filter

oh and try not to use overlays as a texture - I would say if it does not fit the 512x512 square then don't use it.

I guess I should mention that for tools and dev textures (you will want to use them as the filter) you don't want "tf" in the keywords... since they're not specific for tf2

The trigger box for that capture point being under the tools filter
