To celebrate the success of its free-to-play third-person shooter Battlefield Heroes, EA has pumped out a new trailer that sets up the story behind the game. Apparently, the reason behind the Royals vs. Nationals conflict was an incident of alleged cheating during an Olympic track cycling event.

The supposed cheats, of course, made a mockery of the King's mustache

I would have never thought more then 3 people would play this lol

Oh wells.

Personally I find this game to be great fun. The only drawbacks are that generally the Royals have less... skilled players shall we say, and that when you go back to playing TF2 you're generally pretty bad :p. Oh and that micro-transactions cost a ton... So much for micro.

What's so depressing? I've heard its just battlefield lite... and battlefield is a good game.

its Battlefield with about 1 billion lbs of water mixed in kinda lite.

seriously, its battlefield only because of the name.. nothing more =)

I find it fun, but it is no replacement for TF2 if you want a more cohesive strategic style of gameplay. And yeah, more than 4 maps.

Here's the question: 1 million players? or 200,000 players and 800,000 dead accounts that stopped playing after two days and will never touch it again?
