Radar [Contest entry]

This is plr_radar (It rhymes!)

The objective of radar is to get your cart to the enemies radio tower and jam their communications. Once you have pushed the cart to the end of the tracks, the jamming will be taken care of.

This map has had little testing with barely any people, so I will need a lot of feedback for any problems you find. I have a few bugs still to fix but I just know there will be many more. Also, in stage 3 the uphill climbs around the radio towers ARE rollback zones even if they are not shown on the HUD

TODO:
->3d skybox (if needed)
->Detailing in 3rd stage
->Detailing in spawn rooms
->Replace some textures
->Improve lighting
->Fix stage 3 HUD to show the rollback areas
->Make stage 3 start with a rolldown

a1:
-Initial release

EDIT: Forgot to thanks 'III_Demon' for the extra track pieces and 'Void' for the Blu radar pack

You muppet zqp! giving people incorrect fixes to problems should be an instant hanging!!

You almost never need to turn off a prop's shadows. Ever. Instead you should be using the correct and up to date compile parameters rather than the outdated method.
You need -staticproppolys to fix the track's odd shadows.
explained here - http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=2994

Thanks for the comments, the reason it looks almost finished for a first alpha is becuase
a) I never know when to stop
b) I ran into so many problems I just textured and detailed the map while they they were resolved

Why don't you enter the contest with this?

You never know until you try :)

It is a contest entry. It doesn't show it in the thread title but in the information it says.

Wow, I'm impressed. Looks very pretty. One thing I might shamefully suggest is to make the roofs on the third pic have upright supports; looks kinda...messy, if you will, this way.

Too dark, not enough sidepaths on ground level, third stage is very hard.
