Will have to be posted in this forum. No more contacting staff over STEAM PM unless you're given permission to or it's an emergency. It's extremely easy to go insane in real time chat, than having the opportunity to think and post your message in a kind, respectful manner here on the forum.

Also, the verbal abuse of any staff is something we take as a great offense here. We work hard to give you guys a better time doing what we love, but if some of you are going to act like dicks, we wont put it with it. I'm not going to name any names, but this will stop. Right now.

If anyone decides to bash any of our staff members again out of frustration or you just being asshole in general, you will be perma-banned.

i agree. it sucks that one person would cause members to lose a more personal touch with the staff here.

This.

Really. That's pretty screwed up.

So, does this include requesting an announcment be posted for impromptu testing? I assume it would, but I'd like to check first.

Way to derail a thread... but yeah...

I hope that guy feels he should hang his head in shame...

You guys are the best staff/moderators of any site I've been to, this is also a very friendly community.

I don't know how anyone could freak out or lose their temper with you.

What puzzles me is that it was a STEAM PM?

There are enough active donators/VIP's in steamchat that getting some server or basic site related issue sorted shouldn't have really been an issue, let alone one that gets laid in an admins lap abusively. If it was something "that" serious/important then surely a little understanding/patience would have been prudent?

I can't imagine for the life of me how and/or what may have gone down, to recieve such a response from incredibly tolerant and petient moderators. But it must have been a pathetic move on the offenders part. These guys don't have to do jack, but they do, amongst their daily life to life routines and at their own expenses. Such attitude is offensive and it's not even directed towards me.

Ranting further would only make me more anxious over hearing what really went down but obviously that's not important, it's just the fact that it did happen and was significant enough to warrant this response. Which is concerning.

/goes to bed.

I feel like this should be stickied/announcemented for emphasis, too, for people who don't look at the front desk.
