I'm thinking of building my first ever computer. My spoecification is making it as small as possible yet having quite a lot of decent features like a tv output (random, I know) and other things. I'm a complete noob so I realise I should do bit of research first, which I will! My major concern is the processor. If my budget was a little over £400 ($650ish) could I make a decent PC. What specs would I get? Overall, would it be a good computer.
Also, can someone give a modern guide with recomendations on which hardware to use. I can only find guides written in 2007 for some reason =P
Thanks
EDIT: As I said, I want it small. The main reason for this is that I want to make it as laptopy as possible, yet upgradeable and stuff. I realise it will be quite a lot bigger than a laptop, I just want it as portable as possible. Also, somewhat related to being portable. Is it possible to have a few batteries in there somewhere to make it function like a laptop?
