Deleting textures

I have some very undesirable textures in my source sdk (gaping anus, etc) and I was wondering if there was a simple way to delete them. I don't know where the textures are held, but it'd be a real help. I have no idea how they got there, but I want them gone.

LOL :D

I suppose you downloaded them from some server, while playing. They should be in .../steamapps/yourlogin/team fortress 2/tf/materials/ and then... somewhere, look for the path in hammer's texture browser. For example, tools/toolsblack would be in .../steamapps/yourlogin/team fortress 2/tf/materials/tools/ , except it's not because it's packed in the gcf (and it's a generic source texture anyway). But custom textures are unlikely to be packed in a gcf.

They may also have come from another game, though. So you may have to check the material folders of your other source games.

Oh man, thank you. I was seeing a bunch of gross images in the top part of my textures and I was like WTF Valve!
