Hey guys what do you think about opening a Twitter account for TF2maps.net and posting news and updates from senior members. I am sure you would get plenty of followers.

..oxy..

YM EDIT: Bumping for all the newer members, we still use our site twitter account, follow us @tf2maps

Twitter is the devil!

But, this could work. It seems kinda unnecessary what with the blog entry/news announcements on the front page.

Give all the mods the username and pass for it so they can all make news posts to it.

Personally I think everything twitter is retarded. Why do we really need it? Anything we post on the site isn't something you need know now and there are days between postings, and steam events work fine and better than twitter for things like testing...

Really. Why?

Yea, twitter seems like an unecassery investmant in time for the mods. Anything live that happens happens in the steam chat, and any events get sent through the steam group as a handy steam popup. Other important information gets announced on it's very own website, here.

What we have now works fine.

*cough* facebook group *cough*
