Well, I thought it's time to let you know that this map is not dead.

This version will be more like the oil rig that I had planned and released at first - over a year ago. I've rebuilt it from scratch so it's better optimised and doesn't use any half-life 2 materials.

Updated 2009/06/17
- Alpha 11 available for download and gameplay testing (bz2 file)
- Looking for feedback on layout, health & ammo locations, signs, exploits

The 3D Custom Control Point Holograms were created by Artesia, Thanks for that.

!!!! i LOVED this map, aesthetically its wonderful. Cant wait to play.

Very happy you picked this back up, although i think i missed B4?

I agree with DJive on the looks for this map. The version I played, while a little dark for my tastes, was one of most well-detailed maps I've seen.

Definitely looking forward to a new one.

Nice! I remember playing this map a long time ago, and I always liked it, though I enjoyed some versions a bit more than others. Looking forward to playing this at a game day.

Great to see this map back alive. I remember playing it a lot. Very aesthetically pleasing.

Just perfect the gameplay and it could make it offical.

Really enjoyed this map during testing today, it's already in fantastic shape and plays very well. Only suggestion I would have would be improved signage as to the three points. Moving the from the floor to the walls, and adding more to make sure people get to where they need to go.

Otherwise, nicely done and I look forward to playing it again.

Wow, another layout change? I'm happy to see this map again because I've liked every version I've seen so far... but if you keep remaking your map, you're never going to finish. :p

Some stuff from gameday:
- A seemed a bit lacking in terms of defence. I saw maybe one good sentry spot, but people rarely set up anything there.
- B is good. I like the layout at the moment.
- Ramps would work just as good as - and probably better than - the ladders you have at B.
- All the points seem very flat. You should try some elevation or some other way to make the control point areas seem exciting and eyecatching.
