Ok, so I just got Counter Strike Source this week. Yes, I know, a bit late.

Although I'm really not a fan of the gameplay, I've never seen some more inspiring map work. Maps like tides, inferno and dust2 are breathtakingly beautiful.

So I have a few questions...

1) How can I open Source SDK so that it'll work for CS:S? Only Half-Life and TF2 work.

2) Where can I find the official Valve maps decompiled?

3) Are there any really good customs maps that I should check out?

Thank you!

1. On the Source SDK window, set engine version to episode 1, then you can set the game to CSS.

2. Nowhere that I know of. Just download vmex and it'll decompile them. But first you need to download a program called GCFscape that will let you extract map files from the Game Cache.

3. Would you like a plug? Yes, you would like a plug? You're welcome sir here's a plug: my maps
