The melody is very deep within the mix unfortunately but, come on, you must be able to hear the rhythm.

Found this on steampowered forums some hours ago, much better than those crappy techno mixes.
Ok, I guess it sounds like TF2 between about 1:00 and 1:20. I never got that far before because the first minute was disgusting spammage of notes on a mere two instruments.

Ok, Andy is a friggin genius when it comes to writing metal. If you can't hear the TF2 theme within the first, middle, and last part of the song, please have your hearing checked. Or maybe it's just that you don't listen to metal within your life. Either way, Andy has done an amazing job of rewriting this song in his own metal fashion.

I agree, I thought it was quite a clever cover whether you like metal or not. To call that "metal spam" is a bit harsh, it was pretty low key as far as metal goes. It'd do nicely for the menu music
