My name is Bryan. I make maps (orly?). Mostly novelty maps until recently. (ie, Beerpong) I've been at it for awhile, but hardly ever complete anything. I am very familiar with the Source engine, and how to fight Hammer. I'd rate myself as "intermediate" in skill, I suppose. I am stronger in triggers and I/O than in brushwork, as I am a programmer by trade. Recently, I've decided to get "serious" about mapping.

I've been playing TF2 since it was available in beta with the pre-order of Orangebox. I also played TFC. My favorite class used to be demoman, but now I tend to have more fun with randomly selecting any class, or what the team is short on. I don't really have a favorite map, though I do think some maps are utter crap and I am astonished that they are "official". (Does Valve just throw a dart at the board-o-community-maps?)

My current project is cp_wilder, a "push" map with 2 neutral CPs in the center, vice just 1. It has been quite a challenge and learning experience.

And uhhh... that's all I got.

I posted a beta on FPSBanana a few months back. It has screenshots. Of course, latest builds are a little different looking, but for the most part that's what it looks like.

http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/93493 (I hope that isn't bad form around here :p )

Note: I found that it was crashing some Linux servers, no clue why. I guess it was something related to vrad occasionally crashing during compile, so I'm splitting "vrad.exe -both" into seperate -ldr/-hdr (which fixes the vrad crash) in hopes that the same won't happen in beta 2 (which is about 1-2 weeks away). Luckily, one of the servers affected was my clan's server, so I can test it there.
