So I copied all the explosion pieces from badwater and placed them into my map but when they explode some pieces float in the air, is there a way to make them fall down. They just stay floating in the air.
Do you mean how in Badwater they fall perfectly? I assume the model was made to fit the layout of the stage so they look like they are really falling on the ground.
The explosions in badwater and goldrush are prerendered models and animations. The reason there are pieces floating on your map is because in those spots there would be a brush or something to stop it from falling if it were where it's supposed to be.
