i got my dem file, loaded it up, and hit drive. Its great I can look around with the mouse! but...i cant even move around the map : \

ive been looking for a solution, and I thought I found it but it wasnt working for me. How do you move around?

Playback Control:
When you are watching the demo hit "SHIFT+F2" to toggle on/off the demo control player. This will allow you to do basics such as fast forward/rewind, skip, stop, start. Also it will allow you to add texts, sounds etc for more advanced publishing.

alright that brought me a bit closer, i switched it off and i can move now, but now my mouse controls dont work. and now im locked onto players. and cant rotate the camera unless i got back into the demo mode.

is there just a way to move as if your in noclip?

Have you tried switching the spectator mode by hitting Space? Usually this will toggle between First Person View, Third Person View and Free Look Mode. However this seems to work only if the video is playing - if it's paused you can't move at all. Also check out what l3eeron posted: http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=6972
