Is there any chance of someone being able to make a 16 times larger version of the skybox model:

models/props_hydro/satellite_antenna01.mdl

it doesn't need to have collisions, it just needs to be 16 times larger (E.g. real world size, with real world size textures)

Thanks to whoever can help (y)

the textures looks really low-res and it might not look that great :\

Thats what they are in game unfortunate :/

I just could really do with a larger version of it, because it won't render correctly if I use it in the sky box :/

It should work in a 3D skybox. If there is something wierd about it go look at the Hydro VMF and see if you can make it work.

Aye, but, The skybox would be the last thing that renders. I have props which are full scale which would be behind the satellite array. so the props which should be behind, are drawn in front of the satellite array.

i see what your saying, i had this problem a few months back.

Well Im willing to do it for you if you want but keep in mind that the textures probably wont look very nice. and if thats the case and you hate it, then i would suggest making a new texture for it by editing the old one and giving it to me.

Okay sure. I'll see if I can get a new texture for it. I'm pretty useless though, so I have no idea what I'm doing. :/

I'll see if I can get a friend to help.

thanks :)

EDIT: Would I be able to see what it looks like without the edited textures? or would it be easier to send the textures to you first.

EDIT 2: Would it be possible to edit the original texture into a higher res one? If so could you send me the texture >.>;

Sorry about all this, but I have no clue on what I'm doing, this is the first time I've had to deal with this side of models, so to speak

Not a problem.

thank you so much <3

EDIT: Looking at it in game - I dunno if I've done something wrong or not, but when you get a certain distance away, most of the internal support bars seem to disappear. is there any fix to this? Aside from this problem, it's perfect.
